This mosque is widely known as Maarandhoo Hukuru Miskiy. It was built around 1350 during the time of the chief Alkhatheeb Hussain Thakurufaanu. It was pulled down in 1974. Local tradition holds that the ziyaarat found in the surrounding graveyard marks the burials of Hussain Khateed and his family.
