2022年12月7日（水）に京都大学大学院総合生存学館 持続可能な経済研究会の後期ワークショップを開催しました。持続可能な経済研究会の主宰教員であるディミター・ヤルナゾフ (Dimiter Ialnazov) 教授による開会挨拶の後に、九州大学カーボンニュートラル・エネルギー国際研究所のアンドリュー・チャップマン(Andrew Chapman) 准教授に公正な移行と社会的公正について報告していただきました。公正な移行とは、グリーン・エコノミーへの転換により発生する恩恵は全てのステークホルダーに広く共有すると同時に、損失を受けるステークホルダー（企業、地方自治体、従業員、消費者など）を支援することを意味している概念です。
SERG workshop on “Achieving a Just Transition: Energy System Design and Social Equity”.
The Sustainable Economy Research Group at the Graduate School of Advanced Integrated Studies of Human Survivability (GSAIS), Kyoto University, held its autumn workshop on 7 December 2022. After the opening remarks by Prof. Dimiter Ialnazov, leader of the Sustainable Economy Research Group, Dr. Andrew Chapman (Associate Professor at the International Institute for Carbon Neutral Energy Research) gave a presentation about just transition and social equity. According to one definition, a just transition seeks to ensure that the substantial benefits of a green economy transition are shared widely, while also supporting those who stand to lose economically – be they countries, regions, industries, communities, workers or consumers (cited from EBRD’s web site, https://www.ebrd.com/what-we-do/just-transition).
