Indrapurwa Mosque is one of the oldest mosques in Aceh besides two others, Sagoe 26 Indrapatra, Sagoe 22 Indrapuri. The original building was swept away by the tsunami. Currently, only some parts of the mimbar (pulpit) remain original, and others were broken during the tsunami. The repairs took almost four years. The original pulpit contained the year of manufacture and the name of the owner, according to history, namely Sultan Mansyur Syah. The original parts of the pulpit that remain are 1) a small part of the right side of the pulpit decorated with carvings of flora vines, 2) a small pole on the left-back of the pulpit, 3) part of the top of the pulpit.
